First CBreakfast: Time to regulate adult-use cannabis?

The Cannabis Hub launches the CBreakfasts to boost the debate on the regulation of cannabis for adult use in Spain.

With the regulation of cannabis for adult use already underway in countries such as Germany, the Cannabis Hub announces the start of CBreakfasts, a series of morning meetings designed to foster dialogue on the need to regulate cannabis in Spain.

The first event, titled “Time to Regulate Adult-Use Cannabis?”, will feature prominent political leaders, academics and activists, including former Cabinet Director of the National Drug Plan, Araceli Manjón-Cabeza, and Congressman and President of the Drugs Commission of the Congress of Colombia, Alejandro Ocampo Giraldo.

The event will take place next Monday, March 11, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Madrid, and will be streamed live via the link: YouTube Live.

During the CBreakfast, various aspects of cannabis regulation will be discussed, from the regulatory and political context to the social impact. In addition, there will be time for a question and answer session with the attending press, followed by a breakfast for all participants.

CBreakfasts are part of the Cannabis Hub’s initiative to promote debate and collaboration around cannabis, bringing together opinion leaders, political representatives, academics and civil society. These morning meetings aim to be a space for the exchange of ideas and projects to move towards a responsible and ethical regulation of cannabis in Spain.
